Arman Bablumyan

Lead Database developer

About the Author

Hello, my name is Arman Bablumyan.

I am a database developer with more than 15 years of hands-on experience designing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise-grade database systems.

My work spans complex transactional systems, data warehouses, financial and regulatory reporting, and high-concurrency environments, with a strong focus on correctness, performance, and long-term maintainability.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL, building business logic inside the database, tuning critical SQL workloads, and designing architectures that operate reliably under real production pressure.

SQL-Versus was created to share practical knowledge gained from real projects and to provide clear, technical comparisons between database platforms.
The goal is not marketing, but engineering clarity — highlighting real advantages, limitations, and trade-offs across different spectors such as architecture, performance, concurrency, features, and operational behavior.

This site is intended for developers, architects, and decision-makers who want fact-based comparisons, realistic examples, and a deeper understanding of how database systems actually behave in production.
